Description
MD Pro-Check BD Helix is a difficult test method used for daily air evacuation and steam penetration detection for steam autoclaves; it is a Bowie-Dick test indicator. The manufacturer states that it provides clear and accurate results in accordance with EN ISO 11140-1 Type 2 and according to EN 867-5 Class B.
The manufacturer states that the product is easy to record, water-based, non-toxic, and used by placing it inside an apparatus made of PTFE that does not contain lead or other heavy metals; that it is easy to interpret; and that it is used to detect air leaks, unsaturated steam quality, penetration, etc. due to insufficient vacuum in the autoclave at 134 °C for 3.5 minutes.
