MD Pro-Check Label Steam is designed for use with steam sterilization. The manufacturer states that it is manufactured in accordance with ISO 11140-1 standards. It is designed to be used for identifying and tracking sterilization packages in steam sterilization processes at 121 °C and 134 °C. It is double-layered self-adhesive. It allows connection with production date, expiration date, person responsible for the process, sterilizer ID and batch number. The manufacturer states that the indicator used does not contain lead or heavy metals. It is compatible with MD Tech label guns.
Use
After the package is opened in the operating room, the label can be removed and re-attached to the patient’s file or documentation form thanks to the double adhesive technology.
