Description
MD Pro-Check Class 5 steam chemical indicators are steam integrator strips. The manufacturer states that these strips are sensitive to all critical parameters of the sterilization cycle and are designed to provide the closest result to a biological indicator. The manufacturer states that the indicator strips are manufactured in accordance with the ISO 11140-1 standard. They are suitable for operation in steam sterilizers under cycle conditions of 134 °C / 3.5 min and 121 °C / 15 min.
The manufacturer states that the product is manufactured from water-based paint; that it does not contain lead, heavy metals and other chemicals harmful to health; that it allows the end user to evaluate incorrect packaging, loading problems and sterilization failures; and that it shows a clear and definite color change after a successful sterilization process.
In addition to the Standard Type 5 Steam Chemical Indicator, the Self-Adhesive Type 5 Steam Chemical Indicator, which has a self-adhesive feature on the back for easier documentation, and the Perforated Type 5 Steam Chemical Indicator options are offered.
